Vegetation Season 2026

Spring Is Coming —
But Are Your Buffer Zones Ready?

Static safety corridors are defined on paper. Real threats grow beyond them. Here's how Dynamic Buffer Zones change the game.

The Full Workflow — From Satellite to Field

SATGuardian covers both sides: the intelligence and the fieldwork. It tells you where to cut, assigns work packages to crews, documents every intervention — and then validates the clearing actually happened by comparing satellite passes before and after.

SATGuardian Map View — 400kV transmission line monitoring
SATGuardian Map View — Draw a short network section or define a study area — the system fetches satellite imagery, maps corridors, buffer zones, and poles automatically.
Corridor analysis with spectral indices and risk scoring
Corridor Intelligence — Per-segment Risk Level, 8 spectral indices (NDVI, EVI, GNDVI, NDWI…), height estimation, and coverage — updated every satellite pass.

Why Static Corridors Aren't Enough

Every country defines fixed-width safety corridors by voltage level. Within those zones, utilities keep vegetation clear. Logical — but the most dangerous trees almost always stand outside. Too tall, too diseased, or leaning toward the line. Nobody flags them because they're technically "out of zone."

A healthy oak 15 metres from a line may never cause a problem. A diseased spruce 12 metres away can bring down a feeder in the next storm. Static corridors can't tell the difference. Dynamic Buffer Zones can.
